Portrait Commissions of Couples

Commissioned by the Ethical Humanist Society, this portrait commemorates the two people whose bequest, upon their passing, allowed the Society to purchase and remodel its first permanent home in the Chicago area. The couple lived in the dunes in Indiana and often brought these flowers to meetings, though in reality they do not bloom in the same season.
