Individual Portrait Commissions

Commissioned to celebrate an important birthday, this portrait shows a young Lake Forest woman of Indian heritage, in front of her childhood home in Manilla, Phillipines. Various views of that home, taken from recent photos, were used behind the figure in the compositional sketches and this closeup of the front door was chosen.
